Amsterdam – A City for Everyone

Famous for its controversial coffee shops and red light ditrict, Amsterdam fools many a stranger into thinking that this is all that the capital city of the Netherlands has to offer. The city is actually a great place to take children with playgrounds everywhere and the option to rent a bike with a children's seat and get about the city the way the locals do. If you were to visit yourself you would discover an exciting cultural hub where there is something for everyone to do with their time. Vondelpark is a great area to be close to especially for those with children, it is the biggest park in Amsterdam and can be found just south of the Leidseplein. Most touristic things to do evolve around Dam square, the oldest and most visited area in the city due to its traditional architecture, canal tours, coffee shops and shopping areas. Walking around Nieuwmarkt is also popular for tourists wanting to get a sneaky peak of the Red Light District. Must have museum see's when in town are the Van Gogh Museum and Anne Franks House for a true Dutch Museum experience.
